I have spent a lot of the time in the design field and I wish I could impart some stable and immutable forms of wisdom, but I have experienced more change than stability. For me the reality lies in-between things at the margins and edges of standard practice. The most critical aspect being that we have to continually change our assumptions and the foundations which we base what little "reason" we think we may have.
Let me be clear! I am not a romantic, I do have beliefs that lean more towards science than religion or spiritual practices. I am a "dyed in the wool" modernist, I like simplicity in forms and minimalism in expression of design. I am a product of my age and I am getting older, but hopefully not too old to keep exploring.
